No one knows what western women think and what sort of amendments they make for themselves without the consent of men. Well, that we call ‘feminism’.
Women were then seeking liberation from the bra as they felt it turned women into sex objects and considered it as trashy as false eyelashes and high heels. While the emphasis on the bra has been debated extensively in the feminist movement in the following years, a popular social networking site possibly thought of creating a movement of sorts in the new decade, this time to spread breast cancer awareness. So suddenly, status messages such as black, pink, and white started surfacing on the walls of people giving the colour of the garment our lady members were wearing. And all this for a supposed good intention: to spread breast cancer awareness.
This is in fact a brainless exercise. Would it not have been better had women put up symptoms to look out for or the health check-up chart women need to follow as status messages? Keeping the health aspect aside and pointing finger on bra is stupidity, say many.
