The Telangana Rashtra Samithi supremo’s daughter, Ms Kavita, on Monday declared that the Junior NTR-starrer “Adurs” will not be allowed to be screened in the Telangana region. She also warned the film exhibitors not to screen the film unnecessarily in the Telangana region and suffer losses.

Ms Kavita disclosed that her father remained mum on the suggestions of the Central leaders for restoration of normalcy in the region.
Meanwhile, the Junior NTR fans were eagerly waiting for the release of “Adurs” which was made in hat-trick combination of the prominent film director, Mr V V Vinayak and Junior N T Rama Rao. The film was produced by Mr Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan, who had unsuccessfully contested from the Vijayawada Lok Sabha seat.
Apart from Junior NTR has roots to the Telugu Desam party, the actor’s father and TD leader, Mr Nandamuri Harikrishna, had made statements in favour of united Andhra Pradesh incurring the wrath of the protagonists of Telangana. The screening of “Adurs” had already been cancelled amidst the reports of attacks on film shooting units and theatres screening several heroes of the Andhra region.
When the arrangements were being made to release the film for Sankranthi following restoration of peace in the region, the TRS supremo’s ultimatum came a bolt from blue to the producer.
In Warangal, the Kakatiya University JAC leaders have declared that they won’t allow ‘Sambho Siva Sambho’ and ‘Adurs’ made by Andhra producers to be screened in Telangana.
Talking to media persons on Monday, the JAC leaders cautioned buyers against acquiring rights to screen the films in the area as they would be put to unnecessary loss.
