Now he stood as brand ambassador for handmade sarees. The Chnderri sarees are little famous till yesterday which are handmade by local weavers. Kareena wore the saree and appeared in 3 Idiots promotion. Aamir Khan explained how to wear the most beautiful Chanderi saree and also said that it is good if these sarees are worn by Indian women. And sources say that Chenderi saree makers are flooded with offers to design new sarees and they are not sleeping even nights to start the work.
Aamir Khan, thus stands as pride of India promoting Indian ness and local weavers.
