Apart from the aligations in the Telangana region, Saleem is doing well in Andhra region. Vishnu and Ileana’s latest film ‘Saleem’ released earlier this month amidst lot of confusion. Initially the film was released only in Nizam area because there was a bandh in Ceded and Andhra regions. Vishnu said,the film had a great opening in Nizam area when it was released .
‘Saleem’ raked in Rs.1.7 crores within the first 3.5 days in Nizam area alone apart from all political uncertainty. Now, the situation has reversed.The film hit a wall in Nizam area and has opened in several screens across Andhra and Ceded regions where it’s is doing well according to Vishnu. YVS Chowdary directed this film.
Mohan Babu produced the film under the banner of ‘Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures’ along with BIG Pictures. It was made with a budget of Rs.23 crores and was released with around 295 prints.
